Our story

The Munib & Angela Masri Foundation is an independent nonprofit organization established by Munib R. Masri and his wife, Angela Masri. Guided by a commitment to human development and the fundamental rights to dignity, education, healthcare, and empowerment, the Foundation supports communities across the Middle East and Africa, with a focus on Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon.

Founded in conjunction with Edgo, a company established by Munib R. Masri and Angela Masri following their graduation as petroleum geologists in 1956, the Foundation has evolved alongside Edgo’s mission to address the infrastructural needs of the Arab world. By 1970, The Foundation began supporting projects aimed at enhancing the lives of Palestinians.

Headquartered in Nablus atop Mount Gerizim in Palestine, the Foundation has served communities across the Middle East and Africa for over five decades. It is dedicated to building equitable societies through meticulously designed and implemented projects that prioritize education, healthcare, culture, and economic empowerment, while committed to upholding the principles of justice, freedom, and humanity.
