Education is a key pillar of the Foundation’s mission. Guided by a strategic approach, the Foundation carefully selects partnerships with organizations and initiatives that demonstrate strong potential for lasting impact.  

In line with this commitment, the Foundation partnered with Al-Quds University (AQU) to support its Business Center for Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (BCITE). 

BCITE plays a pivotal role in empowering entrepreneurs and businesses within university and the wider region. It fosters innovation and entrepreneurship through a range of comprehensive programs designed to equip individuals with the skills, resources, and support needed to transform ideas into successful businesses. 

Through the following programs and initiatives, BCITE empowers entrepreneurs to drive innovation and economic growth. 

Key Programs and Initiatives: 

Training and Employment Initiatives

BCITE offers a robust suite of programs to build entrepreneurial and professional capabilities. These include:

  • 1,253 capstone projects to bridge academic learning with real-world business challenges.
  • 500 soft skills training programs to enhance interpersonal and leadership abilities. 
  • 8,700 professional skills training programs to develop technical and industry-specific expertise. 
  • 400 internship and employment opportunities to provide hands-on experience. 

Business Incubation Program


The center supports 106 startups through specialized initiatives, including: 

  • Research commercialization for 30 startups to transform innovative ideas into marketable products. 
  • Youth and women entrepreneurship support for 40 startups to promote inclusivity and diversity. 
  • The Basma Initiative, which assists 11 startups in addressing community-focused challenges.
  • Capstone startups support 25 projects, helping students and entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life. 

University Capacity-Building Program 


BCITE also focuses on strengthening institutional capabilities to support entrepreneurship and innovation. Key components include: 

  • Infrastructure development, including the establishment of 5 training and work sites. 
  • Strategy and curriculum development for 12 academic subjects and 22 training modules. 

Global networking opportunities with 40 business incubators worldwide to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange.
