Al Quds Academy
Established in 2016, the Al-Quds Academy for Scientific Research (QASR) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing applied scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Founded through the support of the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation from and Amman serve the academic and research community in the Arab world.
QASR was initiated by the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation to address the need for stimulating applied scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the Arab world, particularly in Palestine and Jordan. The development of human capital in these regions is seen as a cornerstone for future prosperity. To this end, QASR is committed to promoting and supporting innovators, entrepreneurs, and researchers by providing essential financial resources, infrastructure, tools, and knowledge to foster innovation, promote partnerships supports the creation of spin-offs and startups.
Since its inception, QASR has collaborated with numerous regional an international universities, institutes, incubators, and research centers. These partnerships have been instrumental in assisting and supporting researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs across Jordan, Palestine, and the broader Arab world.
QASR also focuses on building both scientific and technological capabilities by facilitating technology and knowledge transfer and establishing research and innovation networks among regional researchers. Governed by a Board of Directors with diverse expertise, QASR oversees the implementation of the Academy’s vision and strategy, ensuring effective executive management and sustainable impact.
