Al-Quds Academy
To advance applied scientific research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, the Al-Quds Academy for Scientific Research (QASR) was established in 2016 as a non-profit organization, with support from the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation and in partnership with Al-Quds University.
Since its inception, QASR has collaborated with various international universities, institutes, incubators, and research centers to effectively assist and support researchers, innovators, and entrepreneurs across Jordan, Palestine, and the Arab world.
QASR is governed by a Board of Directors with diverse expertise, responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Academy’s vision and strategy, as well as the executive management of QASR.
Al Quds Academy
Al-Quds Academy for Scientific Research (QASR) is a non-profit organization in 2016 under the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade as a partnership between the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation and Al-Quds University.
The academy was proposed by the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation in response to the perceived need for stimulating applied scientific research, innovation and entrepreneurship in the Arab world, particularly Palestine and Jordan.
Development of human capital in Jordan and Palestine and all over the Arab world is the cornerstone of our future prosperity and QASR seeks to promote and support innovators, entrepreneurs and researchers with all possible financial resources that can help them create new innovations, spin-offs and startups. QASR aims to create the proper access to infrastructure, tools and knowledge to foster innovation and applied scientific research.
In addition, the academy also aims to build both scientific and technological capabilities through facilitating technology and knowledge transfer while building research and innovation networks between researchers in the region.

Funding Research and Innovation
To prioritize funding for scientific research and innovation, the Academy initiates grant opportunities through the Applied Research and Innovation Fund (ARIF).
