Establishing Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology

  • Location: Nablus, Palestine
  • Partner Institution: An-Najah National University

The Munib & Angela Masri Foundation has played a pivotal role in supporting and advancing vocational and technical education in Palestine through its contribution to the establishment of Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology in 2001.

The founding of the college addressed an urgent need to strengthen technical and vocational education and enhance its role in preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with a rapidly evolving labor market. This has been achieved through integrated academic programs that combine theoretical knowledge with practical application, ensuring that students acquire the skills and expertise required across a range of technological fields.

This initiative has also contributed to narrowing the gap between educational outcomes and labor market needs by supplying professional sectors with qualified graduates who possess practical competencies and applied knowledge aligned with Palestine’s economic development priorities. Vocational and technical education continues to serve as key drivers in supporting employment opportunities and enhancing productivity.

Today, Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology stands as one of the leading vocational and technical education institutions in Palestine. Over the years, it has prepared highly skilled technical professionals capable of working efficiently and competing at both local and regional levels.
