In response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation contributed generously to support the Waqfat Ezz Fund and other civil society organizations, Taawon, the Ministry of Health and others. The Foundation’s efforts focused on providing critical assistance in various sectors such as health, economic support, and agriculture, reaching communities across Palestine and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.
The Foundation’s contribution to the health sector included the provision of medical equipment and supplies to enhance healthcare services and support quarantine centers. Additionally, the Foundation offered financial aid to unemployed Palestinian workers affected by the pandemic.
In the agricultural sector, the Foundation supported local farmers by purchasing their produce and distributing it to families in need. Through its donations, the Foundation also facilitated the distribution of food parcels to families in Palestine and Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, helping to alleviate the strain on vulnerable populations during the crisis.
