The Munib & Angela Masri Foundation provided strategic support to the Unite Lebanon Youth Project (ULYP) in Lebanon to strengthen its institutional capacity and expand its community impact. This support enables ULYP to continue its pivotal role in empowering marginalized children, women, and youth, including refugees in Lebanon, who make up nearly a quarter of the population.
ULYP is a non-profit organization that works with children aged 4 to 15 to build strong foundations for their future. Its educational programs focus on developing independent learning skills, building self-confidence, and fostering self-esteem. The organization also supports youth aged 15 and above, helping them transition into adulthood both academically and personally through programs that enhance academic performance and develop essential soft skills for higher education and entry into the workforce.
ULYP delivers integrated educational programs across a range of areas, including academic learning, languages, arts, sports, leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking. These programs aim to create impact on two levels: equipping children, youth, and women with the skills and knowledge they need, and contributing to a more cohesive and inclusive society in Lebanon.
Through this support, the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation reinforces the values of coexistence and mutual respect among diverse communities, particularly within Lebanon’s complex social landscape, which faces ongoing challenges, including the presence of large refugee populations. By strengthening ULYP’s capacity and expanding its reach, this contribution supports greater inclusion, reduces disparities, and advances the development of more cohesive and equitable communities.
