Munib R. Masri, Founder of the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation, and Munib Rabih Masri, Partnerships and Cooperation Officer at the Foundation, funded the equipping of the Women and Children’s Healthcare Center at the Specialty Clinics of Talbieh Camp, operated by Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) Jordan. The initiative aims to strengthen healthcare services available to Palestinian refugees and improve access to specialized, comprehensive medical care.
The contribution supported the equipping of a dedicated pediatric clinic providing healthcare services for children from birth through age 16, in addition to a breastfeeding room and a women’s health clinic offering care across the different stages of a woman’s life, including preconception, pregnancy, postnatal care, and menopause.
Healthcare is one of the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation’s core pillars, reflecting its belief that access to quality, affordable healthcare services is essential to building stronger, more resilient communities and improving the lives of those most in need. The initiative also reflects the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting Palestinian refugees by strengthening essential services that help address the health and social challenges they face.
This collaboration reflects a longstanding partnership between the Munib & Angela Masri Foundation and MAP, which was established in the United Kingdom in 1982, with Munib R. Masri among its founders. Building on this legacy, MAP Jordan was established in 1990 to provide primary healthcare and specialized medical services to Palestinian refugees in Jordan. His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal serves as the Honorary President of MAP Jordan.
Over the years, the Foundation has contributed to numerous healthcare programs and projects implemented by MAP Jordan, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing healthcare services and strengthening their impact on beneficiaries.
